Most of these pic's were taken at my brother's house on the Sunday before Christmas. The collectible bears I had given him a few years ago because I just had to much STUFF to decorate with and I just didn't know where to put them without my animals getting their hair all over them or my dear dog maybe lifting his leg to pee on them....ugh...!! So I knew that they would get a good home at my brother's house and he has sat them around his tree year after year! My brother did all the decorating at his house and he did a very good job. He put up two big trees and two small ones. I loved his little steeler tree. I'll be posting more pictures soon. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!

First post in a while

So, Christmas Eve, my birthday.....which at my age I am trying to forget!! Things have been a bit up and down here, that's why I haven't posted for a while. My mum hasn't been very well, so we have been in England for a few weeks to help look after her. Didn't like the snow there, we have enough of that here in Austria. We managed to get back home early December (despite the snow closing Gatwick 3 days before we were due to fly), and have been busy preparing for my sister-in-law's visit. She came over a week or so ago to stay with us over Christmas.

It's been very Christmassy here, we have had a lot of snow and we have been visiting the Advent Markets. In St. Wolfgang itself, St. Gilgen and Strobl and of course the one in Salzburg.

Tina's sister, Janet, quite likes to play games when she's here, and a couple of days ago we played a game of London. There's quite a learning curve for the first game, not knowing what all cards do. But we had a laugh and didn't make too many mistakes in the rules. I'm sure the next game will go a lot better, as it was the first one only took 2 hours. I'm sure we'll play a few games over Christmas. So, may I take the opportunity to wish anyone who reads this a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year!!
